Edge Has Been Completely Wasted In AEW

Since arriving in AEW, Adam Copeland has been a two time TNT Champion, but that is basically all he’s accomplished, which in my opinion has been a complete waste of his talent and status. Had he stayed in the WWE he would be winning major titles and competing in the main event of major PLEs. 

So how can this be corrected now? 

Honestly, I would want to get a huge name like Adam Copeland attached to as many titles in the company as possible, because his name can only elevate each of those titles' lineage. 

To start, I think it's shocking that Adam Copeland and Christian Cage haven’t united to win the AEW Tag Team Championships. This is such a no brainer, it would be such an epic moment to see Edge and Christian reunited as Tag Team Champions once again, and for the first time in AEW history. 

Sidenote: I would love to see them do something with the Trios Championships as well if possible, maybe with a shocking return of Chris Jericho to be their third partner. I think that would be great. 

The obvious end goal is for Copeland to challenge for the AEW Championship, however, on his way to doing this he could win some of the lesser championships along the way. I don’t honestly know if the National or International Championships are even worth winning, but challenging Jon Moxley for the Continental Championship (AEW’s version of the Intercontinental Championship) would be an exciting match to see. Obviously, I would have Copeland win the match and the title. 

Sidenote: you could make it a fatal fourway including the other two champions if you wanted to see him win all three titles, but like I said, I don’t think the other two are really worth his time. 

After a brief run as the Tag Team Champions with Christian Cage, and another brief run as the Continental Champion on his own, I would think Copeland would be ready to move on to the main event and challenge for the AEW Championship. 

Currently the AEW Champion is MJF, so presumably that is who Copeland would be challenging. I think after an epic feud with Moxley, a feud with MJF would be incredible. Obviously, I would want to see Copeland win the match and the title making him the new AEW World Champion. 

Moreover, I would want to see him have a lengthy run as the champion and have several high profile matches, defending his title against the likes of Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Hangman Adam Page to name a few. It might even be good to have him win the title a couple times during his run. 

Sidenote: Christian Cage could be in his corner the whole time. Maybe he could even win the National or International Championships since Copeland wouldn’t be going after either of these.
