Sidenote: The Elegance Brand retains the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.
Mustafa Ali challenges Stacks for the TNA International Championship. Stacks accepts the challenge for the match right there and then on Impact, and Ali defeats Stacks to win the TNA International Championship.
TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater comes out to the ring and demands that he wants some real competition in TNA. He is looking for someone to step up and try to take his title. Elijah answers the call, but so does Eric Young, they both want title shots. Before Leon Slater can answer them, Cedric Alexander comes out claiming that since he defeated Moose he deserves the title shot more. This forces the Director of Authority, Santino Marella, to come up and make a decision. Marella announces that there will be a fatal four way match the following week on Impact for the TNA X-Division Championship. First, Eric Young gets eliminated, then Elijah, leaving Alexander and Slater one on one in the end. Alexander wins the match and becomes the new TNA X-Division Champion.
In the main event scene, Frankie Kazarian challenges TNA World Champion Mike Santana to a rematch for the title on Impact. Kazarian wins the match and the title in a shocking upset, but before we can celebrate, after a hard fought match, Nic Nemeth comes out to cash in his title opportunity and defeats an exhausted Kazarian to win the TNA World Championship.
Meanwhile, The Hardys were defending the TNA World Tag Team Championships, and in a shocking upset, were defeated because Matt Hardy got injured during the match. This takes the tag-team titles off the Hardys and frees up Jeff Hardy for a singles push with Matt written off tv for a while. Jeff is left without a partner to challenge for the tag-titles, so instead he walks out and challenges new TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth to a title match the following week on Impact. Of course, Nemeth rejects the challenge. However, the Director of Authority, Santino Marella, comes out and announces that this match will in fact happen on next week’s Impact. Before the crowd can celebrate too much, Frankie Kazarian comes out demanding a rematch since he was robbed of his title. Mike Santana then comes out saying if anyone deserves a rematch it's him. Marella has no choice but to declare this upcoming title match a fatal four way.
Sidenote: It should be The Great Hands, Jason Hotch & John Skyler, that defeat The Hardys for the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Then they can feud with The System. Matt Hardy’s injury in the match would have been caused by Mustafa Ali on the outside of the ring.
Jeff Hardy would win the fatal four way match for the TNA World Champion. Mike Santana would have been eliminated first, then Frankie Kazarian would be eliminated next, leaving Nic Nemeth to go one on one with Jeff Hardy. As Jeff Hardy wins the match and the title though, a disappointed looking Matt Hardy appears in the entrance way on crotches leaving fans to speculate why he wasn’t happy for his brother. It is later revealed that Matt was disappointed that his brother chose to go off on his own selfishly rather than just wait for him to return from injury.
Eventually, Nic Nemeth would get a rematch for the title, only Matt Hardy would run in and attack his own brother Jeff Hardy in the middle of the match. This would give Jeff the win by DQ ending the match. Jeff would retain the title. Afterwards, Matt Hardy would issue a challenge to his brother Jeff for the following week on Impact, Matt vs Jeff, one on one for the TNA World Champion. In that match, Nic Nemeth would come out and interfere to help Matt win the match and shockingly the world title as well.
The following week, Matt and Nic would team up to challenge Jeff and his partner Frankie Kazarian, only during this match, Kazarian would turn on Jeff helping Matt and Nic get the win and then all three would beat down Jeff. Mike Santana would come running out to save Jeff, and the following week they would have an epic two vs three handicap match… Jeff and Santana vs Matt and Nemeth and Kazarian. The stipulation would be that if Jeff’s team wins Jeff gets a rematch against Matt for the title, and of course Jeff’s team would win the match setting up the big finale.
Jeff would win this final match and become the new TNA World Champion. This would end his feud with his brother Matt. In the end the brothers would shake hands and hug. Matt would be in Jeff’s corner going forward as he feuds with Nemeth, Kazarian, and Santana.
Sidenote: This would leave TNA X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander to feud with Moose and Leon Slater. Meanwhile, TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali would feud with Elijah for the title, and eventually Elijah would win the title.
