Since arriving in AEW, Adam Copeland has been a two time TNT Champion, but that is basically all he’s accomplished, which in my opinion has ...

How I Would Run ROH

Just as I have said about AEW, there are too many championships in ROH as well. This is a small company with a small roster of up and coming talent that shouldn’t have eight different championships being defended at once. By making fewer championships you make each one mean more.

The first step I would take in creating fewer championships would be to do away with the Six Man Championships by having them face off against the Tag Team Champions, winner takes all.

However, first I would have the Briscos, Jay and Mark, challenge the current Tag Team Champions, Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos, and defeat them to become the new ROH Tag Team Champions. Then I would have the Briscos challenge the current World Six Man Champions, Shane Taylor Promotions, and ultimately defeat them to unite both sets of titles into one simple set of World Tag Team Championships.

Next, I would move onto the women’s division where they currently have three separate championships. I would unify them all into one impressive Women’s World Championship. So to do this, I would have a triple threat match between: World Champion Athena, and TV Champion Red Velvet, and Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo. I would love to see Athena win the match and unify all three women’s championships into the one and only Women’s World Championship

In the grand finale of this event, I would look to do the same thing with all three of the mens championships as well. However, there will be a twist with this main event. Before the match it is revealed that there is now a new authority figure in ROH, that Tony Khan has appointed veteran Dustin Rhodes to run the day to day operations in ROH. So it has been his decision to reduce these championships in ROH.

As he announces the final match, between: World Champion Bandido, and TV Champion Nick Wayne, and Pure Champion Lee Moriarty… Dustin announces that this will actually be a fatal four way match as he is adding himself into the match. This should generate some heat from the crowd. Even more shockingly, Dustin will do whatever it takes to win the match and unify all of the mens titles, making himself the new ROH World Champion and a ROH grand slam champion as well.

In another surprising turn of events though, Dustin Rhodes announces that he wants to be a proud fighting champion and do what is best for ROH. So for his first act as General Manager and World Champion he announces there will be a battle royal to crown the new number one contender for his title and he will defend his title against that person the following week.

The winner of the battle royal would be Brian Cage, and the following week he would defeat Dustin Rhodes to win the new ROH World Championship. From there he would have title defences against previous champions: Bandido, Nick Wayne, and Lee Moriarty for starters, as well as others like Mike Bennett and Tony Nese to name a few.
